What is a Tray Slide Power-Pak & why should you use it?

Many food facility designers, architects and mechanical engineers have made a practice of providing separate connections from the floor to equipment requiring electrical and mechanical connections.

This practice has required connections from stub-ups to each individual piece of equipment in a cooking battery by the mechanics of several trades, such as plumbers, electricians and steam fitters, resulting in unsightly, unsanitary and expensive installations.

GREITZER ENTERPRISES is offering an improvement to the previous method.

This improvement is a utility distribution system (Tray Slide Power-Pak) which allows the mechanical or electrical contractor to provide only a single stub for each utility.

A utility distribution system is a pre-wired and pre-plumbed stainless steel raceway which carries all utility requirements from one stub location to wherever utilities may be required.

All electrical receptacles are provided with proximity circuit breakers and connecting cord and plug sets. All mechanical utilities are provided with quick disconnect couplings with matching utility hose sets. This assures easy connecting and disconnecting in the field, allowing all equipment to be quickly and safely connected and disconnected by non professional personnel within your organization.

The Tray Slide type of POWER-PAK, in addition to providing the advantages outlined above, doubles as a serving piece of equipment eliminating the need for several contractors to coordinate their work in this area.
