- Quality control source means fewer problems at the jobsite.
- UL and CSA listed.
- Individually tested to assure trouble free product.
- Less downtime when changing individual pieces of equipment.
- Allows for easier and faster cleaning of equipment.
- Convenient location for motor controls, timers, duplex convenience outlets, water meters, etc.
- Complete safety assured while working on equipment.
Some of the advantages of using Greitzer Power-Pak Utility Pedestal rather than the obsolete system of individual electric and mechanical stubs are as follows:
- Power-Pak Utility Pedestals are pre-wired and pre-plumbed to one connection point for electric, hot water, cold water and drain. Theelimination of the need to make individual stub-ups in the field and of making individual connections to each piece of equipment actually exceeds the cost of the Utility Pedestal and effects an overall savings in the total project cost.
- Greitzer Utility Pedestals are made in the controlled environment of a factory under the constant supervision of our inspectors, management and quality control. This assures the customer of fewer problems arising in the field from careless and faulty work by jobsite mechanical trades.
- Each Utility Pedestal is Underwriters Laboratories listed as having met or exceeded the standards of that organization. (All Utility Pedestals sold in Canada are C.S.A. listed). This assures the customer that he is purchasing the best product money can buy.
- Each Utility Pedestal electrical and mechanical component is individually tested before leaving our factory to assure the customer he will be receiving a trouble free product.
- Power-Pak Utility Pedestal construction enables you to change equipment in minutes.
- Attractive and sanitary design is provided for supplying electrical power, mechanical utilities, drain, motor controls, timers, electrical and electronic controls, sink with faucet and flexible hose, booster water heater and duplex convenience outlets in the middle of an open area to service isolated pieces of equipment.
- With permanent stub construction it is virtually impossible to clean under equipment and around stubs. Utility Pedestal construction utilizes proximity breakers with all receptacles. This allows the operator to turn off a breaker so the receptacle andplug can be separated without any fear of arcing. This means that when using a Utility Pedestal system you may put equipment on casters and allow easy movement for cleaning. The quick disconnect feature of Utility Pedestal also permits easy maintenance and repair of machinery by simplifying removal and replacement.
- With a Utility Pedestal system the repair mechanic can be assured he is working in complete safety after he trips the proximity breaker or separates the quick disconnect coupling since no one can re-energize the equipment from a remote location.
- Utility Pedestals are provided with Equipment Status indicator-lights which let management know'at a glance the ooerational state of all equipment connected to the Utility Pedestal.
- Utility Pedestals adapt simply to numerous electric and electronic controls such as stop-start switches, mechanical and electronic timers, motor controls, water meters, booster water heaters, ground fault circuit interrupters, ground fault sensing and relaying devices, etc.
